Vanessa Hudgens is pregnant!
The "High School Musical" actress, who is expecting her first child with MLB shortstop Cole Tucker, revealed her pregnancy on the Oscars red carpet ahead of Sunday's telecast. The co-host of ABC's “Countdown to Oscars: On the Red Carpet Live!” turned heads in a black turtleneck evening gown by Vera Wang Haute as she held her belly, thanking celebrities who offered congratulations.
USA TODAY has reached out to Hudgens' and Tucker's representatives for comment.
The red-carpet surprise comes just three months after Hudgens, 35, and Tucker, 27, tied the knot in a private ceremony in December, according to Vogue and Hudgens' wedding dress designer, Vera Wang.

The "Spring Breakers" star wed Tucker in a custom Vera Wang Haute dress, a light ivory slip dress with a plunging back. She paired the dress with a light ivory tulle veil with custom embroidery that read, "Mrs. T December 2nd, 2023" in gothic font. Hudgens opted for a custom-made strapless ivory A-line gown featuring lace and silk mousseline for the reception.
Their wedding was attended by a slew of Hollywood stars, including Hudgens' former "HSM" co-star Monique Coleman. The couple first sparked dating rumors in 2020 and the pair made things Instagram official on Valentine's Day 2021. The pair announced their engagement on the platform almost exactly a year later when the former Colorado Rockies player proposed.
